Tonight, every Republican on the House Judiciary Committee voted unanimously to advance a bill to the House floor that would make it legal to deport U.S. citizens.
Every Democrat on the committee voted against it.
Let me be clear :-
The U.S. Constitution explicitly prohibits the deportation of American citizens.
By supporting this bill , these Republicans are openly choosing to disregard the US Constitution and attack the very foundation of citizenship.
I have urgent questions :-
- Who do they plan to target..???
- Naturalized citizens..???
- American-born citizens..???
- People of color..???
- LGBTQ+ Americans..???
- Dissenters who challenge this authoritarian shift..???
And where exactly do they plan to deport all those people…???
This is exactly how Hitler and his Nazi Party began their tyranny in Germany.
If you think this won’t affect you , wake up.
If they can strip one group of their rights , they can do it to anyone.
This is not a drill..!!
