I’ve never subscribed to the idea the if you were a great player you’ll automatically become a great manager.
Some of the modern day great managers had average player careers at best.

Actually not just you but the entire soccer world.

Its not automatic, because coaching is a different skill from playing, but if they take their task seriously, they have a good chance. We have examples…

Zidane, Ancelotti and Deschamps are outliers.

No one has mooted that idea really.For them its a passion,some retire quietly, other become TV pundits, then others go through accredited FIFA coaching academies and earn their stripes, working their way up.
