Hizi mindsets ni outdated sana. Hata gava ikitaka kununua livestock wanakataa only to see goats and cattle die later.

When the reports are done by parachute journos who’ve never stepped outside Nairobi there’s always a tendency to blame the GoK for neglect.

Has California in USA recovered from it’s drought. What about Texas. Blame it on Jubilee Government.

Small penis mindset.

Wacha wakufe shauri yao

Guys don’t even pay taxes, lakini kazi ni kucomplain kwa TV kila saa eti namwomba serikali.

I propose this law: If you don’t pay taxes, you shouldn’t beg from the government.

And it should apply everywhere in Kenya.

Mentalities zingine tuwache.

They are so used to getting food aid and other free things from government and charitable organisations, that the ceased thinking of helping themselves in any situation altogether.

There is a difference between drought and famine. Drought is the nonavailability of water which leads to famine. So it is hard to eat a goat bila tumaji twa kuteremsha. I blame the county government and the people who are stuck in their archaic traditions of moving around with their animals instead of forming groups or saccos that can enable them to get subsides feeds and technologies to store water through out the year for situations like this. They never learn despite the many droughts that they have gone through.

Stop blaming and start providing solutions.

You must have missed this “instead of forming groups or saccos that can enable them to get subsides feeds and technologies to store water through out the year for situations like this.”

Honestly speaking, I read the whole of your reply twice looking for the solution.

I guess I didn’t find it because you put “I blame…” and the solution on one sentence.

Hiyo lifestyle ya kutembea na ng’ombe kila pahali is not sustainable in modern times.

Have you ever eaten goat meat for three straight days?
I tell you utakuwa ukiiona unasema 'no thank you '. Alafu sasa Unaambia Bingwa akule mbuzi moja kila siku na saa hiyo hakuna ata ugali?
Eiish hapana.

i was thinking venye huku nairobi n other places huwa tunatrap maji ya mvua na kustore why cant the gava n other agencies do the same …these are thrle same places where people die coz of floods

Good observation.

Slaughter the goats, boil, eat the meat and drink the soup. Enough food.

utashamgaa na mtu huamkia chapati, aleso na supu yake ikiwa kwa kikombe ya glass…

So true. And you will here people talking about tunnels of death while the country is trying to arrest flood water. There is so much that can be done but nobody wants to do it especially the county governments. We need to invest in research and reafforestation efforts too.
