So true. I always go with the notion that the next person is fearful of you and are waiting for an opportunity to kick you when you’re down,hence my lack of complaing over shït i cant change or need what i can’t have.
The version I have reads as follows:
The Meru people’s history states that the Meru were once
enslaved by the “red people”. They escaped and in their exodus,
they came across a large body of water, which they crossed by
magical means. They later followed a route that took them to
the hills of Marsabit. They continued until they reached the
coast of the Indian Ocean. They stayed there for some time.
But they soon left due to poor climatic conditions and threats
from the Arabs. From there they travelled further south. They
went through the Tana river basin until they finally reached the
Mount Kenya area where they currently live.
