LeBron James with a very weak supporting cast managed to take the Cavs to 3 finals against the Warriors.
Steph Curry without KD lost one final to the Cavs and lost another to Kawhi’s Raptors.
Now, they meet at a time when neither player has a right to complain about their roaster. They are both surrounded by a very capable supporting cast. Steph has the advantage of being with a team of guys with whom he has played with for very long together. LeBron has the advantage of being LeBron, the 2nd best basketball player ever (some even put him as the GOAT).
LBJ versus the Joker, LBJ versus KD, Steph vs KD, Steph vs The Joker for the Western Conference final.
My money is that LBJ will be on one of the teams that will contest the Western Conference final.
Gsw are too small is size compared to Lakers and so they have to win by scoring 3’s which unfortunately they have not been good at lately,so Lakers in 5
Seems like GSW struggle whenever they have an off day on 3 point shooting. They’ve been lucky to always have a player with hot hands on these shots be it Steph, Klay, Poole, Wiggins… Today none of the players has been hot and they will go down 2-1 because of the struggles. LBJ scored his first points after almost 19 minutes
How AD performs will be the key factor in determining how far the Lakers go in the playoffs. When AD performs poorly the Lakers lose. It’s that simple.
GSW just don’t attack the paint. I repeat, they have an over reliance on 3-point shooting and no plan B. That game 6 was a case of woeful and awful shooting by GSW and more so from the Splash brothers.
Too small for the Lakers is hyperbolic. You could argue that only LBJ and AD are big on Lakers side. Gsw have Green and Kevon Looney. How big are the rest of the players on the Lakers roster (those who actually play)?
