There should be a national campaign against these diseases and scourge of poverty. Hadi leo bado tunaongea about jiggers and even leprosy and complete utter hunger.
And this situation doesn’t even require billions of shillings. Just a little basic education, some dettol, ointments, a borehole for clean water for the community and lives change. 'Tis a shame.

Hygiene pia ni muhimu. If possible, people should avoid walking barefoot and living in houses with dusty floors.
Ndio hio nimeita basic education. Door to door ama kwa village baraza pale kwa chief. because for these villagers it’s obvious hawajui. Then there’s poverty whereby they can’t afford shoes or medication. Little or no water to stay clean.
With all these leadership and devolution mambo kama hii bado iko tu na itaendelea kuwa tu. I guess it’s down to you and me. Kama ni ushago kwenyu ama kwetu saidia if and when you can. Be your brother’s keeper.
