You forget the Dutch team that won Euros in 1988 and the one eliminated by Brazil in World Cup semis in 1998. Now, those were really good teams with highly talented players.

True @Wu Tang. The team yenye iko is good. Shida tu ni venye ukiwaona wakicheza, you just don’t see the strategy there. It all seems random and scrappy. If they are to have a shot at winning the World Cup, they must undergo a Renaissance like La furia roja.

After Hiddink took over from the Van Boy, there was a sense of trepidation. Sure Hiddink took South Korea to the 2002 semi finals, but over the years, he hasn’t shown a clear philosophy. It’s like he tells his guys,“just go play and see what happens.”
The best Dutch team ever was at Euro 88: Van Basten, Gullit, Koeman, Rijkaard, Van Breukelen, Winter, Koeman II, etc etc
