I know people who scored 400 marks ten years ago and now they are peasants. I know people with As in KCSE and are nothing. We have seen people with first class honours doing menial jobs. Celebrating KCPE in 2022 is just foolishness.
These kids are being taught to believe in something at young age, in this case they are believing in education and knowledge as the route to good life and success. An extremely good belief in my view considering there are worse and unreliable ones. Now consider, Afghan children who at a tender age are taught to belief in religion, or some black Americans who believe only on sports and music as a route to success.
