During the Council of Nicaea, it is believed that the original Church, then, chose some Gospels and did away with many others which do not appear in the regular Bible. Among those rejected gospels is the Gospel of Barnabas. If this Gospel is ever found to be authentic, it could destroy the foundations of today’s Church and Christianity
