It is now official- the glorious pentagon is back. History has repeated itself. The Luos are now in government. The demonstrations by genz have helped bring together the nilotes in ways reminiscent of the 2007 elections. Okuyus thought they’d intimidate ruto but Ruto ni nani? He has played a master card and now kikuyus cannot intimidate him. And I am sure Ruto has learnt what Moi learnt many years ago- nothing can satisfy kikuyus. He has also learnt they are treacherous- Gachagua has been accused of funding genz protests. And if its in deed true, I am sure Ruto will mete out a fitting punishment due to him. It is treacherous for a DP ro sponsor insurrections against the same government he is serving him.
Come 2027, the revived pentagon will of course win the elections. But Ruto needs to name a Luo running mate. A kikuyu-kamba alliance cannot win the presidency. In any case, kambas wil not be willing to deputise kikuyus. In short, in 2027, ruto will win by at least 60%. He should also sponsor candidates in central kenya to divide them.

Kindiki is the running mate. Ruto’s current plan is to split Mt. kenya into East and West and that is what he has started.
