The fake Trump-Witkoff-Dmitriev “peace plan” wasn’t just about forcing Ukraine to surrender Luhansk , Donetsk and Donbas.
Hidden in the fine print:
- Washington would take 50% of reconstruction profits from Russian assets that Europe froze.
- Moscow would get a $200 billion investment vehicle.
- And European taxpayers would be billed another $100 billion on top.
Meanwhile..
- Hungary wants to maintain close links to Putin.
- Belgium has blocked the EU’s own plan to turn those frozen billions into a €210 billion loan for Ukraine—while collecting €3.4 billion in taxes from the assets it won’t release.
The Witkoff clause got scrapped after the backlash.
But Europe now knows exactly what Washington was negotiating behind closed doors.
The question isn’t whether to act.
It is whether Europe will keep stalling until the next Trump exploitation scheme.
EU leaders will vote on 18-19 December.
Belgium holds €183 billion.
The tools exist.
The excuses do not.
