Kwanza today they are in Bomet county to end the small noise from a certain village party. They are not only touring Bomet county but doing a roadshow as they transverse all the towns and centres there.

Kuna jamaa rafiki yangu from Meru who got worried last year when TMT was going to Meru and Tharaka Nithi. He told me hii kitu huyu jamaa amechukua coz hata UK haonekani kwa tv akipiga kampeini. I told him to wait till UK and Uncle DP WSR start their campaigns ndio atajua hajui. I gave him the example of the last day of campaigns in 2013 how Jubilee painted Nairobi red, literally. Juzi he called me and said, enyewe ulisema.

True, its even worse than that. When odm does a rally, they do one event in county hq and leave. They expect the people to come to them.

Jubilee campaign is a mobilization movement. They do a roadshow covering all the towns, centres leading to the county HQ for the main event. In every stop the first person to speak is a local to welcome them and pray. The local Jubilee candidates take over to sell themselves to the people. They highlight what Jubilee government has done and what they as candidate will add onto that. Before DP Uncle Ruto speaks, a local is then given a chance to add onto what has been mentioned in the list of future projects. This makes sure all the peoples needs are highlighted. Finally its UhuRuto to campaign as they emphasize what else they will do. Its a personalized engagement between the people, leaders and government. That’s is why the campaign is extremely successful. Grassroots one on one with the people highlighting work done and work planned.
