Yes, and reasonably so because science seeks to explain how phenomena occurs. It can neither credit nor refute the attribution of occurrences to the intervention (causative and otherwise) of intelligent beings or deities, thus assuming an agnostic view. A critic of the Big Bang Theory once claimed that its proponents say, “Give us the big bang and we’ll explain everything else”, and that to me is due to the lack of the distinction between empiricism and pseudoscience. As more evidence is found, the more credence or skepticism is given to scientific theories and that way, the stack of what’s credible keeps growing.
