A ninja in this Big city paid that much ili mwomaan wake azae c-section. mind you it was possible for a normal delivery but the mwoman didnt want to 'feel the pain of natural birth. The painful part is that the nigga foot the bill right to the last coin as it was done in an upmarket hospital yet his salo aint even half of what he paid.
These are some of the things that keep families in perpetual debt.
Living beyond your means coz lazima watu wajue kule mshe wako alizalia. I dont deny the fact that its your decision to pay or not but why allow your woman to control how and where you spend your mulla? hata kama ni wewe ulibangladesh hiyo stuff.
Where did we go wrong as a society? Or rather as men?
Yaani hakuna any other better and cost effective place to do such biz.
The comment that pissed me off is when the mshe said ati government hospitals hawatafanya kazi poa ati mtoto atakufa na pia most private hospitals are full of shit. So i asked, in the whole of this nation hakuna any government health facility that can handle such a case with the professionalism it requires?
And the funny thing is that none of then were born in riches or are yet to get there.
What happend to living life in reality?
Dr. Luther ebu tuambie kama hii ni kweli ama ni kuchezwa.
210k sounds reasonable for a c-section ,i believe the base rate for c-section at nairobi hospital is around that figure -add pediatrician charges, anesthetist - if you are bringing in your own crew, and some extras and you get 300k+, normal delivery at many hospitals is 100k+
that said, if you have a cover then thats ok, but if its beyond your means, think twice
lastly, its their decision none of our business
i guess what am trying to say is, bringing forth offspring is expensive and you better be damn well prepared, hata kama it was an accident, its one forgiving accident because it gives you 9 months to prepare for d day
If you opt for private hospital then that is what to expect.
Hata hiyo 210k must have been a offer, it’s 250k. It’s their choice whether you agree or not, it’s their baby and once parental instinct set in, your baby became more important than your cash.
i believe you have me at a loss, sioni penye nime catch na pesa za watu, i just said it as it is, plain and simple. no one held a gun to the dudes head, am pretty sure he knew what he was getting himself into. and on the issue of diapers, if you can afford it why not? my kids have never had nappies
mtu ujikuna penye mkono unaweza fika (old cambodian proverb)
hehe 90% of Nairobi people cant afford that shit. Hawazai? These rates you are talking about ni za akina agha khan na mater where all kind of stuff is done to kamua you dry. And you are guaranteed that the doctor will find a reason to recommend c-section.
The middle class people live in their own world. When is comes to children, they have very many fantasies.
Without complications birth at public hospitals is cheap. C-section is cheap, conducted when necessary, and people there are experienced. Lakini si mahali ya kwenda kukaa.
