The biggest loser in 2027 will not be Mt Kenya as some people are preaching, as in Ruto’s succession plans it’s his wish to hand over in 2032 to a Mt Kenya candidate. He only needs to win 2027 and satisfy the economic interests of kingpins and oligarchs. Apart from Western province, Mt Kenya and Kalonzo Musyoka, their is no other bastion so big to destroy his plans. He has sorted Western and he is only dealing with small fires, he knows the price of Mt Kenya, now it’s only Kalonzo who is still playing hard. Nyanza was sorted the day Raila was sorted. The Mijikenda at the coast are sorted as they are still incubating leaders.
So the biggest loser will be ODM as they think they will be as big as the days they had Raila.
ODM will lose the Coast, North Eastern, Turkana, Marsabit, Isiolo, Western, Narok, Kajiado and most of Nairobi.
It will them battle out with UDA and MDG in Nyanza where UDA will share the spoils with it. MDG will significantly gain more members.
In Nairobi Ruto is keen to have Kalenjin presence registered, he also understands if he takes away the Luhya vote, ODM Luo will be confined to a few areas.
