That’s it basically. Stima will almost never be interrupted, maji iko 247, garbage collected, mazingira kept clean, traffic is orderly and controlled by lights, public schools are free, have all the resources and infrastructure, public libraries ziko na kila kitu. Now, what level of awareness do we need to be at in order to get the basics right? Ni nini tunaweza sema tumekosa? Or was it just never meant to be, by design? What aspect of our culture do we need to discard, cos it’s clearly not doing us any good?

I saw a video posted here of guys living in complete filth, having to risk their lives everyday just by moving from one point to another. What gives?

Neoliberalism bro once we accepted IMF and world Bank Soaps they demanded that government get out of business and let the private sector run shiiet. How is that going for you? Now everyone is has a kacompany registered ready to fleece the ‘government’ without delivery… It will take a lot for things to turn around

The raw and unbridled corruption and theft of public property is what we need to end the suffering. Of what good is 100 million shillings stolen from the local road project if in turn there is no road to drive your Prado; no surgical gloves or anesthesia if you roll in your prado. Of what good is that money when you have to live behind electric fences and glass capped stone walls?

Take a drive though the tea estates of Kericho, the rolling hills of Kakamega, Kitale, Kisii, Meru, Siaya and literally any part of Kenya. We already have a paradise. All we need is to manage it
