This movie is incredible matt Reeves has done something that i never thought we would ever get to see on screen. This is not the perfect batman movie but its the best iteration of batman we have ever seen on screen. It’s a detective batman film, u get to see the batman being the world’s greatest detective which is something we have never seen, don’t go watching it expecting non stop action sequences. It’s a 3 hour film but it doesn’t feel like 3 hours.
I put it second after the dark knight, hell even on par with the dark Knight, it’s just incredible.
The cinematography is outstanding. Greig Fraser who was the cinematographer on this and Dune as well did something spectacular. Gotham felt so real. This movie is dark though, picture wise, it’s not a criticisms i actually liked it. like there’s actually no daytime scene it’s just daybreak and evening sunsets which look out of this world. This made me wish i could see it on an OLED.
If you get a chance to see it in theaters please do, Michael Giacchino’s Score on this film will stick with you for days,and the batmobile chase scene is something u have to hear in a theater to have a grin all over your face.
