After lifting weights for a while, I still felt something was missing. Even after stretching, my flexibility was still lacking. I took up the ‘100 push ups in 7 weeks’ challenge as the first part of my calisthenics challenge and so far so good. Have any of you guys mixed up the iron and body weight exercises? What is your experience?
I do 30 situps halafu 20 rollers, 20 dumbbells and 10 pushups daily as part of my “vita dhidi ya utambi” operation.

I nowadays mix my weights with sprints to complement leg day.
Pushups become too easy after a while.
Simple isometric stretching after a workout will really help with flexibility.

Avoid doing too many ab excercises though. It will mess your hip flexor muscles. Also, remember to do back extension excercises to balance out front and back muscles.
You should do ‘The 300’ Circuit 30 reps of 10 exercises nonstop…hiyo we call it the scorcher
That’s right, also may lead to anterior pelvic tilt which exagerates the utambi. I’ve seen many women doin crunches and dieting when all they have is APT. Ukiwambia wafanye back rows na tizi za hamstring wanasema hawataki muscles juu watakua wakubwa. Saa hio mtu ako na BMI ya 30.
Niko area haina gym weekdays. Inabidi nipige pressups, situps jumps all in my sitting room hiyo ya 100 pressups in aweek is a too small a number i try fifty a day. But kautambi still kako hata kama ni kapyenga.
Yeah…@Tarantinoh I know the feeling ya kukosa the iron. The body weight exercises are a great substitute if you have read Paul Wade’s ‘Convict Conditioning’ and ‘C-Mass’ alafu ujaribu izo tizi, utafeel impact in a couple of weeks.
Try outdoor running. Its much better than all the other stuuf combined unless you want to have abs and muscles

Try these and thank me later :D:D:D
Ukiendelea utapata hata 200 pushups a day ni kidogo. Usisahau kujipatia recovery time. Kautambi kanaenda na either diet ama high intensity training or both.
