Hi elders, for a person interested in staying near a learning institution for access to centralized facilities eg swimming pools, restaurants, sports facilities etc, which universities or colleges are open to non students?

Kuja hapa kangemi…we have kabete golf club…shamba hotel…all within UoN kabete…alafu for football we have kangemi grounds, loresho primary grounds, uthiru primary grounds and kabete technical grounds…you can also swim or gym at ilri…they also have a good hotel and pub… for accommodation we have Qaribu Inn in loresho for only 4k a night
How much is rent though. Last time I checked Kangemi was not a cheap place.

Kabete technical to kabete golf club/ campus is 10min… Kabate golf club to loresho primary is 5min and loresho primary to kangemi is 20min walk. Longest distance between those locations is from ilri to loresho primary which is about 30min walk…similar to one walking from bus station/ railways to University way. Matatu between kangemi to uthiru ni 20bob. From loresho kuna sienta za kufika kangemi pale eye clinic.

That was not the point…the point was about sports facilities near learning institutions and you can’t have learning institutions without students around…but still pale on waiyaki way the only place with a noticeable student population is Dumbo, uthiru muthua area and N market near kabete police station…the rest are scattered. Thika Road, on the other hand, is one huge hostel. Mathare all the way to wa kairo in ruiru ni students tupu

Elders are truly obsessed with Nairobi as I was not particular on location. I expected endorsements for moi, egerton, maseno, kabarak etc which is a countrywide outlook.
Nairobi is the place to live buana, enda ishi hapo kabarak uhitaji kitu basic ama upoteze charger ya iphone ama type c ujue maana ya nairobi. Cost ya kuenda hadi Nakuru town na kununua hio charger itakuwa x3 huku nairobi. Hakuna faida ama opportunity utapata huko unless ni kwenu
Come on, why live in a crime infested city with obnoxious prices just because you could lose a charger?
