Sonko had also cancelled the 25 million allocation for the Governor inauguration to pay staff wages. Incoming Nyeri governor has cancelled his 5 million inauguration to pay Karatina hospital electricity bill. I hope they all follow suit.

I hope so too. Voters gave the newly elected leaders the drive to work. Governors and senators were purged left right and center. I hear in cendro only Wamatangi survived among the senators. It’s either service or the highway. If it were not for his service delivery, Mutua would not have survived.
