I have Safaricom, Airtel & Telkom lines all great in their own rights.
The other day i had depleted my telkom bundles which i had to wait until friday to renew the monthly subscription so i decided to use my airtel line for Internet which is pretty fast compared to kitambo and I quickly realised that i couldn`t access some of my favourite sites pale deep Mnetini. Apparently it had something to do with ISP block and they decided to play mummy with me. Annoyed, I decided to just waste the bundles i had purchaed on Youtube and other unnecessary stuff. Airtel has been given much hype especially about having very good data bundle deals but hizo deals are not that impressive if you ask me only that 1 hr deal is the rest not that much.
I thought hii tabia ni ya ISP ni ya Safcom pekee kumbe ata Airtel drink from the same cup na ile kambi ya green. Safcom on the other hand hublock some sports streaming sites or they just make it super slow hence not worth the hustle. And also expensive. But very reliable
Having used Telkom as my daily driver for around 5 years am happy to say that haina hii upuzi ya gatekeeping atleast any that i know of. Also has the best bundles deals for my pocket.
Only issue with them is that they don`t have a wide coverage like the other two which will suck if in your area hawaja tanga tanga
So other factors considered i belive this bunch offer the best mobile Internet deal allround.

90% ya comments on Telkom’s social media pages are complaints about their useless network. Utapewa hio 80gb na una-browse at 0.5kbps. It’s just not worth it.
All down to coverage. mtu before anunue card anafaa achunguze kwanza kama network ni poa ama dhaifu place anaishi. Though pia telkom are to be blamed juu hawajainvest properly on infrastructure na vile iyo kampuni iko na resources.
Telkom huwa hit and miss, ni tucker tucker tuu. They advertise all these “great” offers but never expand their infrastructure to accomodate all the new subscribers that sign up. They end up frustrating their customers, including the ones who were originally happy before the new subscribers showed up. I just don’t understand the logic.
Kuna time nilikua Ronald Ngala street. Mark you that’s less than half a kilometre from their Haile Selasie office but network was shit. About a month later I travelled from Nairobi to Busia and was using Safaricom data bundles, the experience was smooth throughout, for hundreds of kilometres.
Best option for anyone depends on location and speed, price is a secondary consideration.
I’ve bought several Telkom lines in the past and ended up discarding them cos the speeds were absolutely rubbish.
Meanwhile I’ve used my faiba line consistently since 2017, with safcom as back up when travelling
