It is going to be another hot and long day in the saddle, this us a classic day for the sprinters on a relatively flat stage, with a straight wide road at the finish of the stage, there should be no major changes in the GC standing

With a generally flat profile through the vineyards of Burgundy, Stage 7 of the 2017 Tour should be another day for the sprinters. Expect a script similar to what we saw during Stage 6: a breakaway will escape (probably with a rider from Wanty-Groupe Gobert), take maximum points at the intermediate sprint and on the day’s only categorized climb (the Category 4 Côte d’Urcy), then get caught in the final 10-20km. From there, the sprinters will take over.
