rufia/rubia (rupia/lupia in Lunje) was an african corruption of the indian rupee…one of the currencies, alongside the british pounds, shillings and cents used during the construction of the railway and early colonialism. the luhya still use sendi (cents)/chisendi to refer to money.
who were JPS and KSAC?
JPS is the Jamaican Public Service company which is the kenya power ya JA. KSAC stands for Kingston and St. Andrews Corporation, basically kanju ya Jamaica.
hehe nice

“Rufia” was the corrupted form of Rupee, the Indian form of currency.
