Ukimaliza kukula, you sugua the seed on the cement floor and unachoma mtu!..kikikikiii…
Kashata.
I know it has some coconut in the recipie but thats all i know!
Did i mention that it was sweeter than a Multi-orgasm and it came in differing sizes and colours?!.
If i can say how many miles i had to walk home after kukula pesa ya Bus fare after spending it all on maembe pili pili hapo kwa bus stop?;;… i should be a famous Marathon runner.
This also got me in a pickle in my Commuting days on the Nyayo Bus /KBS.
I always needed to remind myself of my Priorities before making a Purchase of these things But it Never helped that the merchants of these sarvouries were always located at the fcuking BUS STOPS!..
Mungu ni mwema and i thank all the good citizens (especially women) who always bailed me after boarding a Nyayo bus or KBS knowing that i had “eaten” my busfare.
mahindi nilikuwa na gongoa a full cob of maize choma ile ngumu then najaza mfuko asubuhi nikienda chuo , time ya class nakula moja moja deskmate anameza mate polepole tuu akiskia aroma na nimemuwekea sura ya kazi
They are not there although kuna Miwa and you get the ocassional Mabuyu,Kashata from TZ guys because its sentimental to them as well but kaa hauna friends who travel frequently into Kenya ama TZ or you are isolated among jungus you could go for years without seeing these things.
Funny thing is i dont enjoy mabuyu anymore but i still have some Love for Kashata and i enjoy it just as much as i did way back when lakini ni Scarce.
Aiyayaya please weka picha ya Mkwaju (tamarind) kwanza ile chungu unasugua kwa rough surface side moja then tunaenda kucheza simbi/kamari/ twam, na kulikuwa na Buyu powder pia
I can relate. Alafu ikifika dry season zile mahindi zimekauka unakaranga na mafuta kwa pan na chumvi. Unawataja Kwa polythene zinanuka class yote. Alafu hubebi lunch juu uko na mahindi karanga
Last time nilikula mabuyu my sister had bought zile za pilipili pale mwembe tayari just when we were about to board a bus after a holiday. Kumbe zilikuwa mbaya, me and my family tuliharisha the whole way from Mombasa to nakuru
nani aliwahi kula “lonjo” it was basically mabuyu but packed kwa small polythene bags then zinaongezwa maji kiasi then the bags are sealed. So it’s a paste like substance in that polythene bag. ukibuy, unarusha yote kwa mdomo ikiwa kwa hiyo juala. The taste was heavenly!
