, just 3.9 percent of cars sold in U.S. were built with manual transmissions, but in the rest of the world, manual transmissions are still overwhelmingly the top choice. In Europe and Japan, for example, more than 80 percent of cars sold have manual transmissions

The sad part is that driving schools are still training how to drive them and you get tested in a manual shifting car.
Dear God I hope students in high school are not using log books.

:D:D:D…enyewe hii ni madharau, kurutu na ile mashida anapitia…then this!?

Niaje AP pamba? Do you know that AP stands for Akili Punguani in our mother tongue? I thought u should know

Hakuna madharau hapo, try to understand enforced discipline, huyo driver atakuwa anakumbuka all rules of the road.

Hehehe, sawa @Engiti

Ni uongo angalia tena mahali pengine. Japana is overwhelmingly auto. Thats why japanese auction sells auto cars. Japan even issue licence for automatic. I learnt how to drive manual cars long ago. The amusement wore away and I find auto more comfortable. Kuendesha manual ni kazi bure.

Right on,men who thump their chest over manual cars are so insecure about their masculinity.I have driven manual cars especially the old land rovers.Theres no special thing about being able to drive one, how many stupid matatu drivers drive them up and down everyday. It will take a total dimwit maybe a week to learn to drive one.I ferking hate these manual cars.

The only way I would justify driving a manual car is if it’s for fun in say a racing arena or a similar setting but in a normal drive situation in Nairobi traffic? Auto all the way.
