Uber all the way. i find uber much cheaper and it is available every corner of nairobi na outskirts pia.
I guess it’ the timing, I took Mine in Nairobi, short distance that I always ride on uber at 300 almost every time but the first time I tried taxify , it gave me that quote. Anyways I guess I need to ride more to know the actual difference, I too was referred to by someone that taxify was cheaper so I gave it a try.

Uber did that to me too! I hailed a cab, he called, asked me where I was going and he never turned up. Waited for more than 30 mins. I contacted their customer care and they told me to pay the cancellation fee first and that they will give me credits later. I uninstalled the app and have never looked back. Little Cab and Taxify only. Cheaper by far.
True, there was a complaint about this in buyers beware page, the same complaint had over 200 comments.
Got a strange response from an uber guy , he asked where I was going and the ride was showing dirt cheap, he cancelled me. Another rude one on the same search happened be at the airport but when I asked him to cancel he said that’ my problem , he didn’ search for me. I was like seriously…

All this apps are meffi, you just don’t know who will appear for client and driver, he maybe a drama queen, a drunkerd, a naija conman, a driver with his attitude etc. The only group making money with little investment, little expenses, no responsibilities and zero risk is the company.
Taxify is cheaper until mpatane na jam, then it gets very very expensive.
