https://www.kenyatalk.com/index.php?threads/mat-business.36561/
Cost of car - 600-700 Tiida Latio/Belta 700-750(show room not import…import you will save close to 150-200k)
Insurance - 35k - 50k depending on the evaluation
Pesa haijajirudisha almost a year after yet earnings have drastically reduced…sometimes you get demoralised mpaka unaona afadhali utoe kwa system uka park Mama ngina nikishikisha…
[ol]
[li]average net monthly earnings ni ngapi? (after utoe maintenance na fuel cost)[/li][li]Is it possible to register for both Uber and Little Cab with the same car?[/li][/ol]
Yaani you can get Tiida Latio for 600K? Foreign owned?:eek:
Nanunua kanissan nione kama katanichoma matako kwa hii biz.
Btw. I believe nissan is a poor quality car
So your assessment is based on nothing but a belief?
Import Duty ya Tiida Latio is about 500k ( https://calculator.co.ke/kra-motor-vehicle-import-duty-calculator )
The cheapest CIF is about 350k
Total cost is 850k. Sioni kama 600k inatosha
Nikiiangalia tu zinanikalia maembe. Kwanza sylphy. Kwanza kama imekaa kiasi. Tiida kananikalianga solid mbaya, bt ugly. Lakini watu wamekuwa nazo naskianga wakiwa negative.
Import duty ni higher than the initial cost of the car before iletwe?
That’s why @pakashume pakashume is wrong. You can’t get a second hand foreign owned Tiida Latio for less than 800K.
Duties aren’t based on purchase price. They’re based on CRSP as obtained from local assemblers/ dealers of the particular brands.
The initial cost of the car (FOB) is as low as 200k. Add insurance and freight (CIF), inakuwa 350k.
Then add nyama ya KRA (the most painful payment), inaudhi sana.
Umefikia wapi so far? Halfway, quarter…
KRA wanakula sana.
