Just like rings. Esp on the men of cloth. I mean these rings are so Egyptians with the first mention of ring being the one Joseph was given by Herod. Later God commanded Israelites to remove them as they are pagan oriented.

@snapdragon you’re focusing on the wrong group of people. The reason you take care with placement of tattoos, first and foremost, is TO REMAIN ELIGIBLE FOR MOST TYPES OF EMPLOYMENT.
No one is employing you as a banking clerk with an ice-cream cone on your face coughguccicough The tattoos which scofield had were actually ok 'cause they disappear the minute you’re dressed … which is all that counts when going in for a job interview really.
