The students won in the debate and public speaking category, where in the debates they discussed the best way to use technology in modern life.
The students are from Joy Girls’ School located in Mbeya region, Rungwe district, where the awards are focused on promoting and strengthening the talents of African students.
Among the countries that participated in the competition, apart from Tanzania, are Uganda and Kenya from East Africa.
Speaking after arriving in the country, the students said that through the competition they have been able to promote the country and the tourist attractions available in the country. They have also asked the government to help them so that they can participate in similar competitions in the future as there are still many opportunities both internationally and nationally
