The Government of Tanzania is set to begin construction of a Film Studio and Multipurpose Entertainment Complex valued at TZS 450 billion (approx. USD 180 million).
Once completed, this mega complex will:
Attract global film and entertainment companies
Generate foreign exchange
Position Tanzania as a creative hub in Africa
The government sees this as a strategic investment in the arts, culture, and entertainment economy, aligned with national goals of job creation, youth empowerment, and global visibility.
