Tanzania News: Tanzania’s Sino Tan Industrial Park (plans to complete the entire park by 2027) – A Mega Industrial Zone in the Making (covers 2,500 acres, and construction has reached 80% completion) 🇹🇿

The Government of Tanzania has successfully attracted investment for the construction of the Sino Tan Industrial Park located in Kwala, Coast Region.

Upon completion, the industrial park is expected to host:
:factory: 200 large-scale industries
:factory: 300 small-scale industries

It will be one of the largest industrial hubs in East Africa.

Once fully operational, the park will generate:
:construction_worker_man: 100,000 direct jobs
:busts_in_silhouette: 500,000 indirect jobs
:money_bag: USD 6 billion worth of manufactured goods

As of March 2025, completed infrastructure includes:
:motorway: Internal main road
:potable_water: Water systems
:office_building: Administration building
:fire_engine: Fire station
:hotel: Hostel
:factory: 6 factory buildings
:school: Technical training center

A 50 MW high voltage power facility is also in its final stages of completion to support industrial operations. :high_voltage:

Already, 4 factories have started production:

:lipstick: KVS Chemicals – cosmetics production
:snowflake: Snowsea – refrigeration and electric cabinets
:wrench: Additional unnamed factory also operational

Furthermore, 6 more investors have signed agreements and are currently preparing to begin construction of their factories.
