Tanzania is a big country. Be specific which part you are going so that you can be advised on the best boarder point. Also what is your mode of transport? Public or private? Peana details usaidiwe.
Private car / Van - carry original log book.
Valid DL
Fire extinguisher
Hazard -2
Details of place of stay in Dar.
First Aid kit.
Must buy car insurance at border.
If you are crossing at Namanga Border - i can give you contacts of person at the border who will give you all the details and will help you with paper works on the Kenya and TZ side.
If travelling a big group - better choose quite days and arrive at the border very early ( before 9 am). So that you don’t messed up with the buses carrying 60 - 70 passengers trying to cross.
Permits / Visas are issued at the border. No need for advance permits.
