When I was in Thailand…most taxi operators wako na mtungi inakaa ya Keg huko nyuma. Gari inatumia gas na mafuta ya kawaida. Don’t know how it works or how different the car will operate

Works all good but the car loses some power. The consumption of LPG is twice as double than Petrol or Diesel meaning you will spend two litres of LPG a place where if you were to use Diesel or Petrol you would only spend 1 litre.

I read that the LPG goes for 60 Bob litre. Is it true?

Yes it does but then again a litre of gas is not the same as a litre of petrol. The consumption is two times that of petrol. Case in point if 1 litre of petrol covers 18km, for you to achieve that using gas it will be 2×.

In internal combustion engine, fuel is injected into combustion chamber is at very high pressure, just like lpg gas. This is why its easy to confuse a petrol engine with lpg gas. The combustion cycle is the same

Heard it’s cheaper to run on lpg but I would try one. You will be in bomb on wheels all the time and considering an article I read about how far they go to reinforce the gas cylinder with steel my fears are confirmed. Little or no data is available on safety of the cars incase of an accidental or when something goes horribly wrong esp gas leaks

For a minute you think petrol is any safer than LPG ?
