[COLOR=rgb(0, 0, 0)]From form 2 biology we all know, or should know, that hepatitis is an inflammation of the liver caused by a virus. Why would young babies be getting hepatitis B vaccines?

(Sex, needles, etc.)
[COLOR=rgb(0, 0, 0)]And then what is strange is they don’t offer cholera vaccines and typhoid vaccines for diseases which kill thousands of Kenyans every year. Tourists get cholera and typhoid vaccines before coming to Kenya because those diseases are spread through contaminated food and water
Some of the vaccines make sense but some don’t make any sense at all.
My thinking is MoH officials especially the ones in decision making level are in the pockets of big pharmaceutical companies. Big pharma gives them a few million shillings so that they don’t question some of these vaccines or try to change anything.

Just because its not issued at the public hospital doesn’t mean they aren’t available. My kids got immunized for more like chicken pox. Just ask your doctor and he will prescribe. In our time we didn’t get yellow fever and Rota virus injections. By 2020 when they review the immunization protocols like they do every decade more can be added.

Jamaa huyoo Central Police. Had to cough up 2k vile nilimfuata huko after kuenda kwake na kupewa ID na khupipi.

@Yunomi hepatitis can also be spread via the feaco-oral route, which predisposes the young ones with poor immunity to getting infected, hence it’s inclusion in our vaccination schedule

Hep B is important for a baby in case as a parent is infected.

Asante sana @Meria Mata . Bcg hupewa against tb, and TZ watoto wanafaa kuwa wanapokea seeing as were in the same region. All in all countries come up with the schedule as a guideline, based on the common and pressing diseases in the region. Hivyo you could always get your kid vaccinated against more diseases than the recommended ones by MoH

Not an expert but from the little biology they taught me at kwa mumii group of schools,vaccine is a more subtle version of the desease,why would they inject you with virus that has no cure?(there is a time we were recieving some vaccines when i was in primary school and there were rumours that it was an Hiv vaccine)is it only done in africa so that we die earlier?
