The government through Safaricom have sued Starlink, only God knows why. You know, has no cables to be sabotaged by way of cable cuts all the time. The govt is gearing up for the next General elections. But we are going to fight Safaricom like nobody’s business.

50 GB for 1300 ksh by Starlink is very cheap

Safaricom offers 25 GB at 3000 ksh which means 50gb is 6000 ksh almost 5 times Starlink

Airtel offers 50 gb at around 4000 ksh

Jtl is the only one that comes close ie 65gb at 2000

All options are capped
Starlink is a lifesaver

The prices could go up if they succeed in their quest.
Has anyone here used Starlink over a period of at least six months. Could they give us what their experience with the unit is like? I heard someone say that the speeds can ve terrible with a lot of buffering. Is it true?

It depends on your internet usage, I think for normal phone use it’s reasonable. Besides many have access to WiFi

Their internet is slow AF. Bundles expire without being exhausted.

No it’s not, Airtel internet has improved tremendously, especially in big towns iko chonjo. Wako na 5g coverage in many areas

Hizi za Starlink zitaisha haraka sana pia. 200Mbps na unapewa 50GB at 1300/=? Zinaisha in less than a week juu faster speeds breeds more usage.

I’m telling you guys, I left Airtel TWICE because I couldn’t stand how slow their internet is. I currently use JTL Faiba4G which sometimes disappoints juu ni kama huzima cell towers zao briefly.

WiFi/home internet for some of us ni waste of money. Leave home in the morning, come back in the evening or at night, eat and sleep…utawai tumia lini? Labda Sunday
