Yes. I agree with him. You should start with materials kama mawe, kokoto. Pole pole unaanza kuchimba foundation. Before you know it, uko kwa lintel.
Tengeneza ya mabati. Toka Kwa rental
Location also matters. You cannot be having a 50*100 in Laikipia uanze kujenga yet you are almost based permanently in Nairobi. Unless unajenga rentals.

Very true.
When I started building my pigsty 14 years ago I remember I had about 20k for the foundation.
Slowly by slowly kanyumba kakaanza kupanda.
3 years later I moved in to a house that had costed me approximately 7m.
This is impressive.

Picha iko?
Nilianza kujenga 2006 nikamaliza 2013… finishing inakula pesa Kama nansens
Ngui
Kichinjio ya @PERDITION
Kujenga polepole ni kazi mbaya. By the time unamaliza cost ime balloon 10 fold.
Chuma na simiti kuna time nilikuwa najenga ilikuwa Ina panda bei every month. Hapo niliweka every other expense on hold hadi nyumba ikaisha na akina @Gaines wakaingia.
Where were you getting 2 million every year to build the house if you started with Ksh 20,000?
Haha, wait too long and the cost of material will be at the moon. On the other hand you don’t have 5M to build in 6 months kama resident billionaires wa kijiji.
Jenga kwenye umepewa shamba. Why spend 3M+ for a plot alafu wait 10 years for 5M ya kujenga? Use the 3M ya plot and build at home. Nyinyi mnataka a life you can’t afford - building in Nairobi. I know such people.
Enyewe huyu mguys anatupima.
Dumb question…
Buda si kuna several ways of getting money…?
Salo here
Ka loan there
Ka biashara pale…
Kidogo kidogo hujaza kibaba…
Kujenga pole pole huwa costly sana, lakini uzuri haufeel io gharama.
Kujenga pole pole is just a sign of stupidity. If you don’t have the money, focus on getting the money instead of buying cheap land and a cheap structure that you will regret later. By the time you move in, the house looks archaic.
