It makes sense to revise the tax downwards. Let me explain.
SportPesa was sponsoring local games up to the tune of 600 M. Government greed came in and tax was upped to 35%. SportPesa withdrew the sponsorship and the other day Gor could not get tickets on time because they lacked funds. This is despite the government’s promise to cater for their expenses. Fuck government. Let SportPesa be!.
Duale tabled a motion to reduce the 35% tax to 15% so thats why they came back since its manageable that way
the tax will be reduced to 15% but the gorvement will tax bet winnings at 20% so technically those betting are the loser’s in this one
