With the emergence of commercialisation of music we got crappy artists who mumble throughout their entire verse, it’s abhorrent that such a spiritual gift of music is used to tarnish love and uphold money.
What happened to music? One might ask.
My answer has always been the same, follow the money.
Pure music devoid of gross sexualization, expensive drinks, plush homes and top of the range vehicles has no sponsor.
Therefore a career musician is at a loss performing such music, they will incur losses since commercialized airwaves won’t generate revenue for airtime of such.
Commercialized music on the other hand creates revenue for competing artists, to basically run adverts in their lyrics promoting this and that brand.
It’s alright though, not everyone has a price so you can always be assured of quality from plenty of artists out there.
In time however the worship of money will cease to exist, in the meantime we listen to Bob Marley’s “many more will have to suffer”
