Durability pia ni kama kucheza kadi, ukipitia pale Reddit uangilie customer reviews za TCL na Hisense za model high end kama QM8 kuna watu hawamalizi mwaka nazo bila mashida, software issues etc. TCL QM8 = X955, imeachana kidogo na C855, Q681G = C655 Pro. Kama budget uko nayo hizi naona zikiwa 4th na 5th options from Sony LG & Samsung.

From what I have read online, kunakuanga na small variations from the US models and European models which are what we get here. Am sure people cant tell the difference in person. Wenye ni majangili saidii ni Hisense for having same model names but completely different specs. Aya nmeona TCL wamelaunch the C7K and from what I am reading online, that thing has similar image quality as an OLED and even brighter images. May God bless them TCL folks. CC: @Nyamgondho

Yes that TCL launch ya KE ilikuwa shallow kidogo hata C8K hawakutaja, C7K ni upgrade ya C755 ya last year…hapo kwa OLED hapana LCD kuifikia ngumu.

Finally got to watch this and as far as I can tell this shootout is subjective which makes it entirely unreliable for anything other than giving the judges opinions. An objective shootout that measures certain metrics(preferably in a lab) would be more indicative of performance.
On top of that it appears that the judges even knew which tv was which beforehand, which introduces bias. Ideally even a subjective comparison should be done blinded ie those judging shouldn’t know which brand or type of tv they’re viewing.
Anyways I’m not a TV guy so take all of the above with a gunia of salt
