hii ya nema kusema ati churches zikuwe na self regulation haifanyi. i’m gonna turn into an arsonist, i’m not even lying.
Hama hiyo kitongoji duni
Choma, choma kabisa
Enda utoe lock msee, hangover is amplifying the noise in your head.
You know, I wouldn’t be surprised to see this beginning to happen
-nothing will be done
-moving is your best option
-can you survive in prison?
unfortunately, i can’t move. it’s own land and built home. some other guy has built four-storey next to the church i was hoping he’d do something but hata ye ni kama ameshindwa. getting away with arson is almost not difficult. i know someone who’s done it. almost all new commercial buildings in my town ziliundwa after arson.
Church boards should now take this as a window of opportunity to address the complaints in a wise manner, it’s not in God’s interest to provoke your neighbours because they aren’t your members: tone down on the loud music and sermons; don’t mount loudspeakers facing outwards, because you are preaching to those inside. Surely the people inside a church can hear someone speaking there without shouting. Jesus never went out noisily calling people to follow him. He preached to those gathered to listen. They ought to follow that example. Serious churches get professional sound engineers to set up the equipment, and train the operators on what to do. Of course a crusade is different, that needs a NEMA permit.

That’s tough… At least ensure you completely exhaust legal options then before you go down that route.
I used to stay near a church where they would shout this all night…plus the usual boboshantis and Toa! Toa!
:D:D:D:D apo wakichomeka itakua ni maobi imejibiwa
:D:D:D imenikumbusha place niliwahi ishi, kulikuwa na church kitu ka 50m away. Kuna time pastor aliamka five akaweka loud speaker akaanza kuimba na kukemea shetani after that akaweka nyimbo za kusifu bwana za kikamba. Aliniudhi sana, nkasema nkirudi jioni ni Mimi na yeye, uzuri watu walizusha akawacha hio upuss.
Hii ni simpo sana, tafuta speaker kubwa ajab face it towards the church on Sunday and play porn at loud volume mpaka waumini waone haya
They are in bizness, self regulation can’t work for they are preaching to those outside to join and grow the church. The only way is to have laws where you can set up a church and where you can’t. Type of loud speakers they can use and those they can’t.
Speakers facing outward is a form of advertising. Church revenue increases if footfall increases
That’s the problem: people have become aggressive marketers of “miracles”. A group which does this is not about God anymore, it’s a business, not a real church.
Still, if you need to tell people about your new church and the spectacular wonders there, you can advertise on social media, and radio, which is quite cheap. You don’t have to keep the whole neighbourhood up listening to you, by force. In fact, that’s when they’ll hate church, they’ll see it as a place of very arrogant people–yet you pretend to preach a Gospel that promotes humility and loving your neighbour as you love yourself.
People need to sleep, do office work in the house, do homework, have family time, etc. They deserve some peace and quiet.
Watu waingie catholic. Other than the bell, hatunanga kelele mingi. Ushawahi ona crusade ama kesha ya catholic?
Kwenu Kuna misikiti?those are the worst, for one they wake u up in Arabic daily but nobody ever complains even tho only four or five people are Muslims in the whole community.in short we should have an orderly settlement where the pubs, shops, worshipping, schools are separated from our beds.ni hayo tu.
Mimi sioni haja ya hizo kelele watu wanafanya siku hizi. Nikiwa mtoto kanisa zote zilikuwa na hizo kengele tu, no loudspeakers, even no crusades, sio catholic churches pekee. Kengele ikishalia na watu waingie, kila kitu ilikuwa quiet. That was better.
