Same thing happened to me on Wednesday nimeenda kuwasha gari ikakataa kuwaka. Kuenda petrol station watu wa taxi wananiambia nitoe mia nne Mimi namshow niko na mia moja since gari haiko mbali wakaruka wote na hao ndio hunibebea nyoka ikikuja na sitaki kuonekana . Nikawaambia wajitombe nikarudi kwa gari bahati nzuri nikaangukia boy wangu alikuwa na jumpers akashtua hio nyoka yangu.

Sasa nyoka ni gari ama ni msichana. By the way, tukiwa kwa bar si uliniambia x6 huwa inaji jump start kumbe ilikuwa uongo

It happened to me one day nimetoka dinner na mrembo English Point kufika parking gari haipigi start. Approaching taxi guys hapo nje wanadai 2k. 1k ya jumper 1k ya mwenye gari ati niko na msupa sitamind sitaki aibu. I went back to my car explained to my gal to wait as I get another battery. Mtu wa nduthi pap to Nakumatt Cinemax (thanks God its 24hrs) and back with a brand new battery. Case closed!

As long as the battery isn’t completely dead it will fire up.

na wale watu wote wa 110, 100, dx, 504, nduthi, hufanya nini? All manual cars can be jump started as long as all plugs are firing. Some, like landrovers, need just a slight push. Diesel vehicles also need a slight push because the engine is very dependent on pressure and not electric power.

Hahaha…had a diesel truck once. It didn’t have a battery, literally! So I used to park it on a slope. In the morning, I’d take off the stone that supported the handbrake, jump in, release the handbrake, swing kwa kiti to nudge the truck, and once it started rolling, gear 3 pap, wachilia clutch, mafuta, depress clutch(in quick succession, si unaelewa) and vroom! Sasa shida ilikuwa kukinyesha, halafu traction ikosekane! hehehe…I’d have to use gear 4, let it roll, halafu hakuna kudepress clutch, ni mafuta hadi mwisho!!!
