I am not the folk that take alcohol home. I won’t do that at all out of my own convictions. So juzi, I passed by my usual watering hole at a major mall, that place i pay 300 for a KBL frothy drink… and there was no sign of any caution amongst revellers on keeping social distance. I thought, suppose I buy my usual two beers and head to the parking lot, …but wait a minute. The same mall has a supermarket, how about I get my beer there says for possibly 200bob.? To my surprise i found out that I have been paying double, beer is 164bob. I grabbed my two ice-cold cans… back to my cheap Japanese contraption, pull out my laptop and in an hour, I have a sizeable chunk of the office job done from home, sorry, from a parking lot…

Okay, what got my attention is the fact that kenyans are still not taking the necessary measures to stop the spread of the coronavirus. We will always be what we are. What can we expect anyway, the people there are drunkards, it is not like they are thinking clearly or something. Kenyans are joking around with the coronavirus, ignorance which cost us in the colonial period is yet to cost us again. People are dyong in italy like sheep, the corona virus is here and most people are just going on as usual unless the government stops them from doing so. Once the virus gets serious, people are gona get whats coming to them, lets wait and see.
