So which is mightier? The pen or the gun?

When I looked at this photo it evoked some curiosity from yours truly. I found it fascinating. This photo at bests can also brings to mind the phrase the pen( substitute this for the camera) is mightier than the gun. Or does it? hehe, nwe it depends on which school of thought you subscribe to. Sasa these two guys(the photographer and the afande) all at the center of their hustle. The photographer runs back to get a good photo of the president during the kongowea impromptu visit, while the Recce marksman (specialized) runs to cover his boss, the president, from any potential threat. The two without saying a word to each other do this seamlessly. Journalism and Police working alongside each other. But in a fraction of a minute these two careers can collide and turn to bitter enemies. But its all in a days work. I think we should learn something from this type of relationship.
As a journalist there’s nothing as irritating as an overbearing police officer, the opposite holds the same, as a police officer there’s nothing as irritating as a pesky journalist getting in your way. But somehow the two professions co exists along each other. We should emulate this in 2016, si lazima upende mtu ndio mufanye kazi pamoja. Hata unaeza kua na bibi/bwana mjinga but learn to tolerate each other. that is @paparatzzi quote for the day. Ni hayo tu Talkers kwa sasa

Also a pity that they are both paid peanuts by their employers yet they do commendable work.

huyu maybe sio body guard probably hanger-ons making themselves busy or useful

talk about blending in…

she can remove that pistol quicker than you can say “dry fry” . Enyewe hapo hata kama ni camouflage, the shoes would let her down in a hostile situation. nwe keep in mind this was an impromptu detour by the president, she was caught flat footed.

True this was not part of the president’s itinerary. But it bore fruit, the president has directed the NYS to do a clean up of the market and to have the roads inside the market carpeted. While a grabbed land inside the market would be repossesed. Nyali Mp Awiti Bolo ndio aliomba Uhuru atembeh

how and she’s busy shoving people aside?

A very tricky security situation. Normally, security detail recognize each other because of the uniform and dark suits. In mombasa everybody dressed in a simple shirt and trousers. very difficult to identify genuine plain clothes security officers
