I didn’t realize over the weekend it was end month. I’m not a wage slave in the real sense of the word but some times I forget because I get paid irregularly as a contractor.
I bumped into my tenant when out and about last weekend. One thing led to another I was back in my old apartment, which is now rented out to her. I know this apartment like the back of my hand and this lady has really done a good job with decor. I hadn’t been inside since she repainted the living room, which I was okay with when she moved in earlier this year, Feb to be precise.
She pays rent on time, by 1st midnight, since she moved in and now we are on day 3 and my bank balance hasn’t pinged. We have talked since Saturday but I didn’t find the need to ask about rent this month. Knowing how Nairobi women think, I fear that in her mind she has paid rent to the end of the year.
May be she forgot. I’ll wait to the end of the week.
This will be the most expensive post-PNC I’ve ever experienced.
enda kwa kio, slap yourself, and acknowledge your stupidity… from now on rent ni shared puthy unless you kick her out…alafu upelekwe court for defilement, harassment and other nonsense. paka lube and next time think with your big head
Just walk into a good agency, pay them their % and tell them to collect rent on your behalf. They will do the rest. While it is still hot, throw away that SIM card immediately.
Mimi hushangaa do seasoned elders like this nigga never take anything home. I mean what’s the whole point of this kijiji that sets it apart from the rest???!
I would never be this stupid. Any man old enough to remember maziwa ya nyayo should know kulala na your subordinates or in your case tenant ni kuharibu biashara.
