Mombasa prepares to play host to the 79th edition of the Skal International Congress at Pride Inn, Mombasa North. The event dubbed Congress on the Beach will end on October 21st, 2018.
Scores of local and international delegates have started arriving for the Congress being held on African soil for the first time. The annual Skal Congress is one of the world’s largest congregation of tourism stakeholders.

Fake grass put on a road roundabout that is due for demolition in a few months as China Wu Yi is accelerating the construction Mariakani to Mombasa CBA road. Its a 3 lane each dual road with walking lanes, bike lanes on both sides and a new Nyali bridge. The only thing that should be in hoho urgent list is garbage collection.

Anyway even this three months will.be tricky for Nairobi. The Dandora dumpsite upgrade to a modern recycling, incinerator and power plant tender will be awarded by PPP. Chinese, Japanese, German and UAE firms are pushing for it. It will allow all garbage collected in Nairobi to be processed. They will even take part in collecting it themselves.
