President Uhuru Kenyatta, in his 59th Madaraka Day State Address, warned that the increase in number of families headed by single parents, if unchecked, risks harming the future of the country.
“Equally important to highlight is the threat to our traditional values and the family as the basic unit of our society. The evolving face of the Kenyan family is characterized in the 2019 national census where families headed by single parents rose from 25.1% in 2009 to 38.2% in 2019,” he said.
“If unchecked, this trend shall destroy the fundamental character of Kenya and reap untold harm onto our most vulnerable and precious members of society, our children.”
Kenya is following the western culture alot. Look at the sudden influx in men and women in tattoos, now the term baby mama baby daddy imekita mzizi in kenya. Nowdays its cool to have those baby daddy mama drama and shiet. Only different na majuu ni child support system. Hapa mtaani the so called baby mamas wanaumia sana inabidi wakauze kuma ndio watoto wa survive
Just like religion, bonobos worshipping the white man huku waki act kama hippocrates calling out racism in bars and night clubs, na wamejazana huku ktalk.
Not really. All women want the same small group of men. So utapata one deadbeat with five single mothers. Its not 50/50 as you think. There are significantly more single mothers than deadbeats because most women knowingly get pregnant for married men.
