#ShukidSeason

There’s been so much buzz around the Kenyan Hiphop scene with several artists dropping their projects (Mixtapes and Albums). Recently, Shukid released his debut album called Shukid Season and it has been well received by both fans and critics alike. I rate Shukid very highly, let’s say I think he ranks among the Top 5 Kenyan Hiphop Artists Dead or Alive. Having watched him grow as an artist and listened to all his projects, I was always surprised that people slept on him for long, but as they say, if your work is good enough, you’ll soon get the recognition you deserve. True to this, Shukid is currently getting noticed and more and more fans are listening to his music, which is a good thing.

His project “Shukid Season” is available for streaming and purchase exclusively on the BoomPlay app which can be found in the link below:

This evening there will be an album release party at the Backyard Bar in Westlands (The Alchemist) where we expect him to perform most of his tracks from this album and looking at the line-up of supporting artists who will be performing, it seems like this is going to be a dope event. Breeder Lw, Maandy, Kevin Grands and 125 Musiq are among the artists that we expect to see tonight.

I’ll be in attendance this evening, hope to see you there. Let’s support Kenyan Hiphop.
@Nefertities I’d love to hear what you think about this artist. I respect your opinion on Hiphop matters.

Looking forward to see Breeder LW perform, never seen his live performance.

I loved this , ubaya ya Kenya ni one hit wonders.

Congrats to Shukid…but ukweli usemwe…Hip Hop is not selling in Kenya that much… Most Kenyans prefer mediocre bongo sounding music…Hebu angalia kina willy Paul …bahati…otille brown…they sing bongo styled music na wanahit

Ako spotify?

Swee kumbe wewe pia unapenda hizi za tingisha kichwa

You’re right. Let’s hope kuna a few peeps who are keen on Hiphop who’ll discover the few artists who are really putting in work and putting out quality music.

Not yet there. Work in progress.

Yep.

mwambie aweke huko na Apple play Music too. Kenyans are embracing such platforms

You’re right. Will suggest that to him.

Just glad you’ve heard of him now.

@Shabba Ranks it maybe better to get an opinion from those who like local artists. I’ve never listened to his work really.
