Shock As Girl Kills Father Over Supper In Kirinyaga

Residents of Ndindiruku village, Kirinyaga County, were left reeling in shock after a 17-year-old girl killed her father in a quarrel over supper.
Justus Mutiso, 34, was pronounced dead on arrival at Kimbimbi Sub-County Hospital on Sunday night after he was stabbed in the chest by his daughter.
Witnesses said that what started as an attempt by Mr Mutiso to discipline his Form Two daughter over alleged bad behaviour turned tragic when he was instead struck dead.

Mr Mutiso arrived home at 10.30pm and found his wife Magdalene Muthoni had left for prayers at a nearby church.
He asked his daughter to serve him supper but she defied him, saying it was not one of her domestic duties.
This angered Mr Mutiso, who attempted to whip her.
The girl escaped and went to the church, some 500 metres from the family’s home, and reported the matter to her mother.
Ms Muthoni left the prayer meeting and returned home with her daughter and served her husband food.
Afterwards, Mr Mutiso accused his daughter of indiscipline and vowed to cane her.
He confronted her once again but in defence, the girl grabbed a kitchen knife and struck him in the left side of his chest, sending him to the floor.
Neighbours responding to a commotion found the man unconscious and rushed him to the hospital but he succumbed to his injuries on arrival.

Does this worry you?

there is more to this story

I blame religion. If the mother was home to serve her man. Hii haingetendeka.

Alafu the kid is so spoilt. Nashuku ni biologically wa huyo mzee judging by how daughters love their dad.

One problem with raising kids is that if you never did something when they were young you can’t do it when they are old.

If you never corrected them when young you can’t begin doing it when they are in high school.

It’s just like anything else, even domestic animals like dogs. If you never got them used to something when they are young, it will be hard to do it when they’re older

Indomie generation ndo wana hii kibiru. Mtu anaishi kwako na anakuonyesha hii kiburi unachapa yeye vibaya sana.

Also girls are difficult to deal with. Starting from age 12-13. Men often forget and think of them as the babies they knew. But no. One has to deal with daughters differently. Even mothers do coz they understand their behavior. I dont think one need to resort to kiboko just because his kid has refused to cook him food. Times are changing.

The Bible says that in the last days, a man’s worst enemies will be members of his own household (Matthew 10:36). We are living in those days.

Truth is as you age in life, daughters stand by their dads more than their sons.

I can change that and say for @Weyn and @Baby Panay , man’s worst enemy will be his filthy buttocks for he will not work but sell them for a mosel of bread. (Ktalk:1-3)
