Governor Okoth Obado’s wife Hellen Adhiambo has alleged there was a plot to record a sex tape of her husband with the late Sharon Otieno in April.
[B]In her statement to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI)[/B] recorded on 23rd of last month, Hellen says it was at the height of this revelation that she heard of Sharon - for the first time.
She says a man, whose number she did not have, called her from Awendo sub-county and introduced himself as a friend of the governor’s family.
Hellen adds that the caller informed her of Sharon’s booking at the Imperial Hotel in Kisumu where the supposed sex episode was to be taped.

Plausible. That woman was already blackmailing Obado so getting a sex tape would have added to her paraphernalia. If it’s true, I’m almost beginning to sympathize with Obado and understanding why he did what he did.
