I hear you. But first we might need to define what a hero is. You fought for freedom? Yeah sure. No one got paid for that. But a pro athlete? Yeaah no. One time compensation is OK. You brought honour to out great nation. Monthly allowance? No chance. They need to learn to invest. This way we won’t have someone just leaving off allowance for some stuff he did in 1979, not bothering to do anything else just because.
